However, there is no such research centers related to promote added economical value and tourism of Hakka industry. Owning to Hakka traditional histry, geographical location and social culture, it shows a significant characteristic. In Taiwan, the population of Hakkaness people is smaller than Taiwanese people. They originally residents in hills area, then moved to plain land, always lived with agriculture. NationalPingtungUniversity of Science and Technology has been established for 80 years, which is famous for her full of agricultural experts and researchers and facilities. Especially, NPUST is located at a Hakka village and closed to a Hakka cultural park, which is quite an advantage to establish a research center of Hakka industry. To integrate the resources, in a first stage, any field researches includes Pingtung and Kaoushing area, then reach to central and eastern Taiwan and extend to some Hakka communities in China in the second stage. Finally it will extend to southern Asia and other countries. The three stages will be carried out by local institutes and foreign Hakka researchers through industry and academia collaboration.
